ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a driven and domain-savvy Senior Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle across our Danny platform and to lead the build from scratch of our newest product, Open Real World Data (Open RWD). Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations & Engineering, you will set product strategy, define roadmaps, and translate complex oncology data capabilities into intuitive, high-impact experiences for clinicians, researchers, and life science companies. By the end of year you will take on a direct report, growing into a product leadership role as we scale.
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO YOU WILL OWN
You will drive strategy and execution across the following products:
- Danny DataStruct: AI-powered platform for structuring unstructured oncology EHR records across multiple languages and countries.
- Danny Analytics: Research and evidence generation engine enabling survival analysis, cohort building, patient pathway visualization, and HTA-aligned outputs.
- Danny Anonymization: Clinical-grade, GDPR-compliant anonymization pipeline for real-world oncology data.
- Danny DecisionSupport: AI-assisted screening and diagnosis acceleration for rare disease patients.
- Open RWD (new product development): A natural-language interface for clinicians and researchers to query and extract insights from 141B+ structured oncology records collected monthly from hundreds of hospitals across Central and Eastern Europe. This is a new product being built from scratch and you will define it end-to-end.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Vision
- Own the unified product roadmap across the Danny platform, balancing short-term delivery commitments with long-term strategic bets.
- Define and champion the vision for Open RWD: from problem framing and user research with clinicians, through MVP scoping, to iterative release and market fit.
- Translate the company’s real-world data asset of 141B+ oncology records, updated monthly into differentiated product capabilities that no competitor can replicate.
- Identify opportunities to unify or cross-leverage capabilities across Danny modules into a coherent platform story.
Discovery & Customer Insight
- Conduct deep discovery with all three buyer/user segments: hospital clinicians and oncologists, pharmaceutical and life science teams, and research institutions/CROs.
- Develop a nuanced understanding of workflows in CEE healthcare systems and translate regional clinical realities into actionable product requirements.
- Define and maintain a clear persona map and jobs-to-be-done framework across all Danny products and Open RWD.
Execution & Delivery
- Write crisp, well-scoped product requirements and user stories; work shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering and Data Science to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- For Open RWD, drive the full new product development journey: from NLP/LLM capability assessment with the Data Science team, to UX flows, pilot rollout with clinical partners, and feedback loops.
- Own feature prioritization using data, user feedback, and business impact; make and defend difficult trade-off decisions confidently.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure the monthly hospital data pipeline serves not only current analytics needs but also future product features at scale.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the primary product interface for Engineering/Data Engineering, Data Science/AI-ML, and the Commercial/KAM team — ensuring alignment across all three.
- Partner with KAMs to feed real client signals into the roadmap and to support pre-sales and onboarding where deep product expertise is required.
- Represent the product function in leadership discussions; provide clear, evidence-based updates on roadmap progress, risks, and strategic decisions to the SVP of Operations & Engineering.
Team Building & Process
- Onboard and mentor one PM direct report by end of year; help establish scalable product development processes as the team grows.
- Define and implement product management best practices, discovery frameworks, prioritization models, release rituals that are appropriate for fast-scaling healthtech company.
