Biggest airport in Canada runs SAP Work Manager mobile application

Sqilline has continued its mission of helping companies transform their business with the successful implementation of a SAP Work Manager mobile application at a Canadian airport. The project was carried out in partnership with MSC Mobile Canada.
The solution is SAP Work Manager 6.1, based on SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 and gives 140 airport technicians the ability to easily inspect, maintain and repair assets in all airport sites. The mobile app is tightly integrated with SAP MRS, a solution for resource planning and optimization.
Partnering with SAP SE, we completed the ambitious project of improving the technical workforce routine at the airport by implementing leading IT technology to optimize technical service efficiency.
The end objective of the airport was to replace highly manual maintenance processes with easy to use mobile apps.
Sqilline helped the airport deploy SAP Work Manager on Apple iPads, giving 140 technicians an opportunity to manage their assigned work orders and service requests via tablets, providing them an access to key data including operations, tasks lists, repair histories and stock availability.
The go-live of the implemented Work Manager 6.1 mobile app was on August 24, 2015.
