‘As a leading center for diagnostics and complex treatment of oncology patients, the health facility was in need to provide faster and secure access to patients’ data from remote locations and assist review, interpretation and diagnosis. SMART DI works well for all these occasions enabling health specialists to share comments and and improve collaboration among physicians. Furthermore, it allows sharing of medical imaging to patients rapidly which increases patients satisfaction.’ he said.
In summary, SMART DI provides the following business benefits to the Oncology Hospital:
• improved patient care;
• increased awareness for physicians via real time collaboration sessions;
• proven better work efficiency.
The mobile application works with all modalities in the field of diagnostic imaging – ultrasound, mammography, SPECT-CT, etc and is based on SAP Hana Cloud Platform mobile services, which ensures high security all the way from the server through the platform to the mobile device, as well as easy management and control of the access to authorization. After closing the application, the patient data is automatically deleted from the mobile device and stored only on the server of the hospital.
