Bucharest, October 13, 2025 – The finalists of the Romanian Healthcare Awards 2025 have been officially announced, recognizing outstanding contributions and innovation in the Romanian healthcare system. This year, 26 jury members from Romania, the USA, Poland, Denmark, Portugal, Norway, Estonia, Greece, and the Republic of Moldova evaluated applications across seven categories.
We are proud to share that the project “National Analysis of Lung Cancer Based on Real-World Data (RWD), made through Danny DataStruct Platform”, has been selected as one of the four finalists in the “Research Project of the Year” category.
This important national initiative was developed in close collaboration with the Romanian Society of Oncology (Societatea Națională de Oncologie Medicală din România -SNOMR), chaired by Dr. Răzvan Curcă . The project has been officially endorsed by SNOMR.
Using Real-World Data to Advance Oncology Research
Real-world data (RWD) are increasingly essential for oncology research, health technology assessments (HTA), and regulatory decision-making. This nationwide, multicenter analysis of lung cancer leverages data from 11 Romanian oncology centers, structured and analyzed with the technical support of Sqilline Health through its AI-powered Danny DataStruct Platform.
The analysis identifies key trends, strengths, and improvement opportunities in lung cancer care, providing actionable insights to support evidence-based policy and clinical decisions.

The Romanian Healthcare Awards 2025 ceremony will take place on October 23, during the ROHO – Romanian Hospital & Healthcare Convention in Bucharest. Winners will be announced and presented with category trophies and diplomas of excellence.
