Last week, on the National Conference on e-Health, Sqilline officially launched an application for Imaging Diagnostics. The application is created under SAP Hana Cloud Platform mobile services and will enable radiologists to view, comment and share results of patient tests directly from their mobile devices.
Desislava Mihaylova, managing partner at Sqilline and Dr. Ivo Gergov, head of the Imaging Diagnostics Department at Oncology Hospital Sofia made a demonstration of the newly developed application, displaying live, directly from a mobile device, the functionalities of the application.
The app offers multiple advantages. It can be integrated into any hospital in the world and works with all operating systems. Another important advantage is that the application works with all modalities in the field of diagnostic imaging – ultrasound, mammography, scanner, etc. The application is developed on SAP Hana Cloud Platform mobile services, which ensures high security all the way from the server through the platform to the mobile device, as well as easy management and control of the access to authorization. After closing the application, the patient data is automatically deleted from the mobile device and stored only on the server of the hospital.
The mobile application is based in the cloud. It is very valuable because it gives a chance to search for a patient using their name, patient number, date or type of image test. In the app doctors can mark findings and leave a comment, make measurements, enlarge the image to measure the density of the tissues, write down and share diagnoses with colleagues. All this ensures greater diagnosis accuracy.
